Crawfish Tyme on East 70th St. has them for $3.99/lb.

guess the cost of getting them up here is offset to the customer like mofo

Alexandria had places that were selling at 2.40 a lb last weekend. If you are looking for a big boil it may pay for you to make the drive.

ETA...probably not, gas at 3.40 a gallon is a little steep.

Get some chicken necks, some nets and a long pole. Catch your own then come back and complain about paying $3.99 a pound.

Doing a boil next weekend in East Texas. Normally I'd just bring them up from Houston, but I've got a couple days to kill up there before I actually boil. Figure it's just easier to buy them in Shreveport the day of.
