Live crawfish aren't looking too good.

I'm getting a sack tomorrow and the place I normally get them from has a mix of dirty tailed, hard shelled bugs mixed with clean tailed softer shelled bugs.
Is this common this time of year? Is it across the board or does it depend on the source? Should I bother checking another supplier or is everyone providing this sorta mix right now?
Thoughts?

Shop around ,this is not normal . Been getting field grade every Sunday and they look great .

If you can get to Port Vincent, then you should go to Hole in da Wall.

I got a sack yesterday afternoon that look good...but I forgot to ice them down so they have been in a ice chest in a garage with the lid open since 5 yesterday. I hope they are ok

You know I read a thread last night about keeping them alive.
Go ahead and open the drain and water them down real good but don't let them sit in water.
They're pretty tough. I'll bet they'll be ok.

Yea they good to go, I checked. I was remembering as I was reading this thread
