I used to love that place when I worked downtown. Would go once a week. RIP...

Temporary closure?

Update: Take heart, lovers of Cuban food. Liborio may have a new chapter. A son of the owner said that another location is planned. We'll have more details soon.

Took long enough. It used to be good. Food quality and service has gone down steadily while prices increased. No one I know has had anything good to say about it for the last few years.

i liked the ropa vieja. that said, too many other great options in New Orleans to keep this place open.

Another +1 for ropa vieja. Prices were too high though and service was slow.

yeah, the prices went too far. originally, lunch was a pretty good deal there, but it changed in the last several years. now that i think about it, it's been a couple of years since i set foot in the place.
