Gdam. I enjoy about 1-3 a week but rarely more than 1 in a day. That would be if I had a short one earlier in the day while grilling or boiling and then another later that night.

There are so many solid brands off the beaten path. Torano, 5 Vegas, CAO, Gran Habano are just a few that come to mind.
Oddly, I haven't ended up liking many of the big label standard bearers that much. Just taste difference I'm sure. Or maybe my palate is garbage.
You morning stogers....damn. Don't know how you do it.

Anyone use a good app to track their sticks, notes, etc?

I've got that Macanudo Inspirado lined up shortly.

Love a morning stoge with my coffee. I work from home and if the weather is right I will work on the patio with stoge in hand while sipping my coffee.

Sounds quite excellent. I don't think I've ever had a morning stick. Closest was probably mid-morning 10-11 while hanging out fishing and crabbing.

I’ve tried to get into cigars. Smoked one the other night with a bourbon and it was enjoyable. But I felt like dogshit afterwards. The cigar was a Perdomo Habano Connecticut that the cigar shop recommended. Any tips besides stop being a pussy?
as others have said, make sure you do not inhale
Also, choose something on the MILD side and climb from there until you get to where you do not want to progress any more.
As a rule, the lighter the wrap, the milder the cigars, although only about 25 to 30% of the flavor comes from the wrapper.
If they tell you how much "ligero" is in the blend, look for 1/2 leaf or less to start with combined w a light wrapper.
BTW, I read a review on your cigar and although it has a Connecticut wrapper, it seems to be more towards the med-full body than the mild side.

As for morning cigars-- There are a few that go great with your morning coffee. I usually go milder in the morning-- Ashton Cabinet, Macanudo Cafe, Oliva Serie V, Rocky Patel Cameroon, Undercrown Shade. A favorite of mine a bit off the beaten path is the Reguius Seleccion Orchant. And--I know this is polarizing--Candelas are great in the morning-sweet, light, and aromatic: Fuente 8-5-8, Rocky Patel Edge Candela, Illusione all make great ones.

I tried that one and liked it okay at first but now seems like most of the data I uploaded is missing or something.

Have you had a Montecristo White series cigar?
Pretty good for an Altadis cigar and probably the closest non cuban to a traditional Montecristo.

I thought it was great
good deal, FYI you can usually pick them up pretty cheap on the Monster/Famous cigar auction site. LINK
I think I paid around $18 for 5 of them last year and they certianly got smoked.
Edit to add LINK
Beware it is addictive and a few visits will require an additional humidore.

Mi Amor from La Aroma de Cuba is very similar, very consistent, and about $5 less per stick. The Melanio is the best cigar I've ever tried. (I'm hardly an expert, far from it.) It was the one I was smoking when I got it. I could taste all the subtle flavors and the complexity like a fine wine.
Mi Amor is really close and about 2/3 the price. And I like the guys who run the local store that sells the Mi Amor more than I like the guy who owns the Tinder Box that sells the Melanio.

I like the "It's a Boys". Always get a good deal on them.
