Left the cast iron skillet on the stove to dry and it turned silver.

GF left it on the stove for an hour and half and now it’s silver. Should I throw it out or is it still good to use?

It may be warped. Check all over for cracks.
If not warped or cracked, re-season.

Everyone makes mistakes. Just make her sleep outside one night so she learns her lesson.

I did that last night. Now I’m talking about the cast iron skillet.

Just to clarify, I'm assuming you mean she left it on the stove and the stove was on? So she left it hot for 1.5 hours and it was empty?
I'd think she just burned all the seasoning off of it and it will need to be re seasoned.
I ground mine down to make it smoother and it gets basically silver. Re-season it and slowly over the course of about a month with normal use and it gets to be the dark black again.

No harm. A fire made it, a fire can't hurt it. Re-season and youre good to go.

As others have said, it’s silver because she burned off all the seasoning. Assuming the pan itself isn’t damaged, reseason and you’ll be fine.
