That’s a wrap for us. Headed back. Did a lunch at the Asian place in L’Auberge Thursday. It was good. My pho was great. Dinner that night at Chart house was solid. Nothing spectacular. Previously described lunch the next day at Darrell’s and Mazen last night. Never got past the apps at Mazen. Had kibbeh, grape leaves, humus, baba ganoush, Mediterranean shrimp, smoked salmon, lamb lollipops and a couple salads. Everything was fantastic. Breakfast this morning was boudin, boudin balls and pepper jack balls at Rabbideauxs in Iowa. Loaded up on stuff to bring home. Nice little trip to LC

Cousins is some of the best food in all of Lake Charles. Save Darrel’s for on the way out when you’re hungover.

Can't go wrong with Cousins. Tasterite is a few blocks away and does some killer Jamaican food
