Are these the same people that owned the one in Watson years ago?

Are they trying to steal business from Louisiana Lagniappe on Perkins?

I thought I saw in 225 or Business Report they had restaurants in Zachary and Baker.

Yeah, they’ve been around baker and Zachary and I think Springfield. The best way I can describe it is they were like a Sammy’s, only not as good. It’s been years since I’ve been but it was average at best back then.

That is a cursed location for some reason. A friend of mine said they went and enjoyed it very much. Looked like they got fried fish and etouffee—it looked good.

If it is associated with the one that was in Denham, I do not hold out a lot of hope that it breaks the curse.

One of my bosses that’s friends with him said Kevin has sold the Louisiana Lagniappe on Perkins. It’s often recommended by many when people ask the best seafood spot in town. Will be interested to see what happens, these transitions are often no bueno.

The article they did on the sale said the new owner promised to change little to nothing, if that helps at all.

As for the Lagniappe in the OP, I’m kinda surprised they would move out to BR and not change the name just for confusion sake.

I’ve been to the other locations, but it has been years. Well over a decade. It wasn’t anything like our existing Louisiana Lagniappe. Way more casual.

I feel like Primo’s had a good run for bit, but everything since has failed pretty quickly.
