I thought that was going to be Pardon My French...

No. It is called Palmyre which was a family name. The place is French inspired if that makes sense. I went to the soft opening on Thursday night and it is a pretty cool place. The interior decoration is kind of a throwback, and the drinks are quite different.

Palmyre

The couple of write ups I’ve seen on this place we’re over the top gushy and pretentious. It seems to be another “craft cocktail” place.

That is exactly what it is. An upscale place to relax and have a drink.

I am keeping my roots firmly planted at pour. I know the rotation there.

Probably either Don’s or Fezzo’s. I hear people talking about uncle T’s in Scott, it I have never been there.

This is definitely what it is. I went last night and it was a good time, other than it being very cold in there. It’ll be in the rotation for us since it’s so close.

Hmm, one was a rye based drink called Booray and I don’t recall the second one, but it had Thai infused bourbon (I’m assuming it meant Thai chili because it had some heat).

The booray is the one they infuse with smoke. It was good, but a little sweet for me.

Agreed with the sweetness, I preferred the other drink, it was more sour than sweet.

Are there “craft cocktails” there?
