I've made them before and you're right - very good for what they are. Quick and easy if you're in the mood for it and don't have a lot of time available.

LA Products makes quality stuff. I like their fish fry, shrimp fry and seafood boil.
I like creole seasoning for seafood, though use other mixed seasonings that have a bit more paprika and black pepper when seasoning land animals.
