Creole Lunch House, Dwyer's, Champagne's, Gary's, T-Coon's, and while it's not an official plate lunch, Rouses on Bertrand has a hot lunch bar where you can make a plate lunch (except you never know what the offerings will be).

Dwyer's FB page posts the menu for the week on Mondays. Champagne's in the Oil Center posts their menu online LINK

I watched a "Roadtrip" show on Cooking channel last night that showed a joint called Johnson's (Boucaniere) that served some lunches. They made a boudin ball grill cheese sandwich that looked pretty damn amazing.

Parrain special is pretty damn amazing.
Begnaud special is one of the best pulled pirk sandwiches ive had. Boudin is top notch as well.

Good info in here. I'll be checking one out tomorrow. The Begnaud looks fantastic.

Definitely good. I forgot that they serve a plate lunch. You can also order from the menu.

they do have good lunches but I find them overpriced and the portions aren't what you get at other plate lunch places in lafayette

Corner Pantry on Foreman and Dwight's on Johnston are both good. They give you plenty.

lebouf's (usually good specials)
Kevin guidry's (cheap, very filling "half plate")
