Been noticing that my sliced cheese seems to melt when I make a sandwich with any kind of smoked ham.

Like virginia or honey smoked from the deli. Anyone ever notice this or am I just wierd?

Quit smoking the ham. It's killing brain cells.

Salt in the ham is causing photosynthesis in the cheese. It is a natural process.

I might be wrong, but it probably isn't the smoked meats that's causing the cheese to melt, it's the microwave.

Not microwaved. Kept cold and any cheese I've tried including the processed slices
