Kenner Seafood is legit. So is Harbor Seafood. Both are great value too for what you get.

Zea is the best restaurant in Kenner

I would have to say that Ristorante de Piero is the best if you like Italian.

Zea's is solid as far as the Kenner landscape goes though

Mr. Ed's was one of my favorite lunch spots. Good variety there.

I hope you got a Tahoe or at least the new Caprice PPV instead of a beat up old Crown Victoria. Welcome aboard.

Thanks again for the recommendations. I've been to some of the main ones before like Kenner Seafood or Zea's but it's nice to know some of the good, smaller places.

Norma's Sweets on Georgia Ave not too far from Harbor Seafood has a good Cuban sandwich. Pho Sunrise on Williams, Taqueria Chilangos on Roosevelt near Home Depot, Chez Pierre for desserts on Vets just down from Pho Sunrise, Hursts on Airline for soul food....

And the Kenner PD always seem to be lunching at the Popeyes on Loyola....

I forgot about that place, haven't been there in years.

LaBelle's is also good.
