Any way to view the inventory? I’d be interested.

Friend,
There are some pictures of inventory on TulaneLSU's Top 10 boudin stands. I was never a fan of the Matt Rinard paintings on the wall, so no worries about me bidding for those items. Too kitschy for my taste, and I never found that they fit with the style or temperament of the restaurant. If you forced me to take one of the paintings, I would take the blackened drum one because it has the recipe included.
I will be bidding on the outdoor sign, though. I'm willing to go five figures in case you're also considering.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

Just emailed her. Hoping to get my parents a Christmas gift. They really loved that place and have been making memories there since they were dating. Thanks!

I don't know. I thought about the same thing, but what I quoted was the post in its entirety. There were no links.

Friend,
What a disappointment. Prints of ceiling tiles, spoons, old pans, bread baskets, wine list, and butcher paper? I imagine the family will keep the good stuff or put it up for auction with Neal Auctions.

Friend,
The heirs to cornerstone historic New Orleans restaurants learned from the fire sale of Kolb's, where steins and menus were sold for a buck or two and have a resale value 25 times that on Ebay now. The problem with these items from K Paul's is that there is no evidence for provenance of the items, except for that which is disposable and has little value. If the spoons were engraved like Galatoire's or the ceiling tiles were originals, not prints, they might be worth purchasing. But if you offered me those spoons, pans, tiles, or bread baskets as they exist as a free gift, I would politely decline them.

TulaneLSU

Guess not. It's not on the site with the tile prints, spoons, skillet and butcher paper.

Surely not. If you use his pan, I would expect your gumbo to turn out perfectly!
