We've got some people who need to develop even the slightest sarcasm meter.

Oh, and Zaxbys sucks, literally not one thing that is better than Canes. Not one, even down to the shitty set up to get your drink.

I did with this statement
Not sure what there is too explain.

OK dude. What options would you like to see? they can work in the store, in the BR office or in the Dallas office. I'd like to live in Colorado, but my boss does not provide me that option. In fact, my only option is to stay in Louisiana.
so again, how is Cane's limiting its employees options? boy you are dense.

Hired in BR with tons of talk about how they were family, it was more than just a place to work, blah blah.
The new CFO, or whatever he was, didn't like BR and convinced Todd that it all needed to be moved to Dallas.
Employees were told they had a job in Dallas, but very few were even offered the cost off living adjustment and the moving expenses were a joke.
Of course, Todd wasnt going to uproot his life and go with them.
He had the right to do it and did. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I recall the stories.

It was ok, I think the newness will wear off quick.

I'd say the salads are better. Literally.

Man just think of the opportunities those employees wasted by not riding it out. Since the move to Dallas, they've probably opened 150 more stores.

You can say that. But it isn't true.

I understand the unwillingness to uproot your family, especially when the guy who is making the decisions isn't willing to do the same, but the cost of living in the DFW area is roughly equivalent to the cost of living in BR.
It's not like he was sending them to San Francisco or NYC on the same salary.

1. You can't know that.
2. I like Zaxby's salads better than the salads at Cane's. Fact
edit: unless you were being clever, in which case I applaud you.

I don't. The guy making the decisions created the company to do well and be able to do what he wants.

I agree. I'm just saying if they were truly convinced they were "family", I can understand the frustration with that decision. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do though.
