so anyway, I saw all this thread about how good VooDoo is and decided to pick up some for dinner. They were out of brisket, mashed potatoes, corn pudding and bbq chicken so I got the Jerk chicken with steam veggies and rattlesnake beans and wife got 1/2 rack ribs with FF and veggies.

WON'T GO BACK! The ribs was so darn salty and tough, beside the salty ribs there's salty bread, salty bean, salty jerk chicken. The only thing that wasn't salty is the veggies and ff, I was like WTF? Am I come in the wrong time or the wrong day? The food wasn't good at all, I normally go to TJ ribs or Ruby tuesday for ribs..their ribs are soft, falling off the bone just great! Wouldn't recommend to anyone that have high blood pressure. The food is like too too salty.

So, I guess you know that real BBQ ribs do not "fall off the bone". You are a braised rib lover, not BBQ.

Did they have any pulled pork?

You can tell if the meat on the rib has been braised by the ribbone. If it is spongy, its been simmered in a cooking liquid for a lengthy ammount of time! Unfortunately, that cooking liquid usually includes liquid smoke.

Yeah, they have pulled pork at Voodoo. I heard the dude that work at Ruby Tuesday said that they normally put the ribs in the oven for 6 hours in low heat.

BBQ is smoke. You like a different style. Many do. But it ain't BBQ.

Stopped by for a pulled pork platter at the Nicholson location on the way to Seinfeld Thursday. Very good.

They do need to upgrade their sides though.

Their sides are minuscule, the meats are OK. BR is not a good BBQ town. Funny how we have better Lebanese and Indian food then BBQ.
