Yep. I’ve boiled some in a 30q (turkey fryer) when I have been out of state and this is the only way. All that shite holds well so cook it first. Then you can do about 8-9lbs head-on in the 30q. It will fit a little more, but they get too packed in there. If you need more than that then you are likely going to need to break it up into batches.

But the only way I could do that method as well as the above is to not season all the other stuff in its boil.
go buy more seasoning , what's it gonna cost you .... $20 ?

Thanks. I’m not totally sold on if I’m wanting to do a boil or just throw a shite ton of frozen burger paddies on the grill. I don’t really love the idea of doing 3 or 4 batches of boil.
Then why not borrow an 80 qt. pot from someone you know that has one. Do one boil and be done with it and save the smaller pot for just you and your immediate family when the need arises.

If I knew someone with a larger pot then I wouldn’t be using a 30qt pot lol

I’ve honestly never boiled strictly shrimp. I boil crawfish and end up throwing shrimp in too at some point. Crawfish is usually wiped out and always have shrimp left over.
Shrimp fills you up quickly, especially if you have lots of “fixings”.
I’d suggest doing your “fixings” in one batch first. Then do your shrimp.
30lbs of shrimp is a lot of shrimp…it’d be a lot easier if you had a bigger pot

I've got at least 3 people in my immediate neighborhood that I can borrow an 80 qt. pot from.
Where do you live.
