Bought this cluster for the table last night:

Probably was a bit much with all of our meals, but we mostly ordered accordingly.

Jumbo king’s have an amazing quality meat, and this beast was huge.

If you’re looking for a special occasion place definitely drive up to the Kiln and visit the JRS.

Waaaay over cooked. I like mine placed in the vicinity of a heat source for 12 seconds then brought to the table.

I’ve eaten a raw kind-of-kimchi style blue crab in S Korea, but it was mostly just sucking the meat out of a cracked up shell and spitting out what wasn’t edible. You’d have a mess on your hands with this big thing.

They are already cooked, they should only be steamed just long enough to heat them up. Most places steam the crap out of them.

That Meridian guy got pissy with me once when I asked him if that was popular throughout the state or just a coastal Mississippi deal. I honestly didn't know, but had seen it on the coast so I wasn't sure if they did it all over.
