Deuce - Try this place and give us a report. Its new.
Aardwolf

Beers are all highly rated, but that could just be the brewer and his buddies doing all the reviews...

Are you at the hotel right next to the Chart House? I forget what it is - I think it's changed names a few times. San Marco is right in that area. Check out River City Brewing, as well. Can't beat the view, especially at night, when the bridge, the fountain, and all of the buildings across the river are lit up. They used to have a killer happy hour, too. Ruth's Chris is on the river in that area, too.

Staying at Crowne Plaza over looking the river
Ruth Chris's may be one that is in the hotel

Ruth's Chris is nice, but there are some really nice places in San Marco, as well. Riverside has some nice restaurants, as well - Blue Fish and Biscotti's come to mind. That's on the other side of the river, about 10-15 minutes away, and not far from Intuition and Bold City.

I don't plan on eating at Ruth Chris's we have one here but Aardwolf, Intuition Ale Works, River City Brewing, Engine 15, and Bold City are all a 15 minute walk from the hotel

Bold City and Intuition are probably a cab ride. They are on the opposite side of the river and not easy to walk to...

It might be, but I wouldn't cross the bridge drunk. It's the I-95 bridge and it could get dicey. There are some really nice casual restaurants in the Riverside area that is just down the road from those breweries. It might be a good idea to grab a bite to eat in Riverside and then hit the breweries.

Sorry for the three-years-later bump, but I must tell the world about Gators BBQ. Delicious.

Deuce
Good tap list, I live two blocks from Green Room, and can tell you if you are gonna venture out here, to stay a while

Green room obviously is my favorite, but while out here or on the way, a stop by southern swells wouldn't be bad

There's a place in walking distance from green room, blind rabbit that you would like

A couple of nicer places to eat out here are Restaurant Doro, Mezza and Hawkers in Atlantic Beach

The nite life for Jax is out here at the beach

Saw your exploration list, two things to add. A tiger sanctuary and st Augustine

ETA: damn, three year bump, didn't see that coming
