I've heard nothing but great things about this place. Every time WM played Madison Central, coaches would eat here.

If you go to Hamils, you better have no plans after. Place is unreal but if you can move after you ate there you did it wrong

Manship’s bar is really cool for happy hour/drinks and pizza. Easily the largest whiskey collection in town and it’s not close. If you are wanting to try some new bourbon or whiskey it’s the place.

Surin in Fondren also has a really good happy hour, half off sushi and really good Thai food

We’ll be in the Belhaven area.

Welcome to the neighborhood

Meridian Dog gave very good suggestions. Plenty of good food and drink in the area. Fenian's Pub, and Hops and Habanas patio are great places to grab a beer.

My daughter goes to school at Millsaps. Walker's is very close and by far the best food I have had over there so far, but it is pricey.

Rib tips and fries, sauce on the side. ETA: hot links there are awesome too.

Not sure if MD list included Mr. Chen's for Chinese, but it's very good and a good opportunity to spend some time looking around the market there.

I get it to go. I get my sauce on the side so the fries aren't soggy when I get to them. Dip the fries in the sauce. Usually wrap the hot link in the piece of white-bread they give you.
