After seeing a couple of thread about grits I had an envie for a bowl myself. I started cooking the grits and then thought a couple of soft scrambled eggs would be good as well. Then I considered frying some bacon but didn't feel like the mess so I tossed some bologna in a hot pan instead. Of course you have to have toast and butter and next thing I know I'm full as a tick.

damn it.....I have not had fried bologna in years.

The wife has never had it, I tried explaining to her how glorious it is.

Looks great but you forgot to put crushed potato chips ontop that fried bologna.

By far the best grits you will ever eat.

Good man on those scrambled eggs. I love my scrambled eggs like that with identifiable bits that are white and bits that are yolk.

What time is breakfast served at Chez Cajunate so we can be there on time tomorrow?

I like to put hash browns (cubed) and bacon pieces or breakfast sausage in my grits, with a little tabasco.

That is how my Dad (RIP) cooked his scrambled eggs. He would bet butter in the pan and cook the eggs as if he planned on doing them sunny side up. When they were pretty solid, he would scramble the yolks. The result was definite whites and definite yolks in the scramble.

I really miss my Dad.. He was my Hero and a really good man.
