Is There a Cajun Version of Nova Scotia's Blueberry Grunt?

Just saw Zimmern's Delicious Destinations and this was called a favorite dish of Nova Scotia. Wondering if a Cajun version made it down here.
He mentioned another dish that I never heard of called Rappie Pie. He said Cajuns have this dish, too. They showed the dish being made with potatoes that have had the starch extracted for other purposes. It's layered with chicken in a casserole. How about that one?

Rappie Pie, I'v heard of. To me it seems that they had an abundance of inexpensive potatoes. Once in south Louisiana rice pretty much took it's place, however a an electric skillet of smothered potatoes and sausage is a staple down here.

Lots of people make blackberry dumplings. Never heard of Cajun name for them , but looks similar.
