I had a $25 gift card and just ordered the pick 2. 3 inch sandwich, small broccoli and cheese soup, small drink, and small corn chowder soup. $22
Not a lot of food. The soup was smaller then the palm of my hand.

What an overpriced place.

Outside of the broccoli and cheese soup nothing was good. That was a $5 meal

If you listen to the doughboys podcast ep on Panera with bill Oakley this was exactly their take.

This was a true one and done for me... my jaw dropped when I saw how tiny the sandwich I paid almost $15 for with a bag of chips and drink was. Their commercials annoy the frick out of me too

He’s not far off. The power lunch at Ruth’s is $30 and includes a salad or soup, steak or fish/shrimp, and side which is full sized.

Roast turkey and avocado BLT is $8.59
Tuna sandwich is $6.59
I guess in some worlds that’s close to $30. And don’t you tip at RC? There’s another $6.

And what kind of fatasses are spending more than $11-12 at Panera?

I don’t care who hates Panera but to say it’s about the same price as RC is just teenage hyperbole.

Do you not understand?
A 3 inch sandwich and a bowl of soup the size of the palm of your hand and small drink is $15. It’s not enough for a 100 pound female for lunch

The other Mini soup was $6 which comes out to $22

I would get Ruth Chris lunch to go and spend less with no tip since I went in the drive thru today

First I've ever heard of hyperbole being considered adolescent I love a little humorous exaggeration myself.

Lighten up, Francis. It was a funny comment about how even one of the most expensive restaurants in town might be a better deal than Panera. Not worth picking apart.

I think you mean "fast food" and not chain and the answer is yes.
