I might agree if it is slow and it sits there a while, but getting the hot from the oven breadsticks with cheese sauce Friday was pretty good. The crowd was busy enough to get the fresh pizza flowing.

I love Johnny's but their buffet pizza blows. It ain't the same as the off the menu pizza.

Plus they cut it in triangles! Gross.

I believe Johnny's and BJs are the same pizza. 2 guys came up with the idea and then separated their operations.

That's an astute observation. Correct and you are the only one to mention that and I would have thought that would come up earlier considering the many mentions of cutting it in squares which is the only thing I believe it and Fleur De Lis have in common.

I grew up eating Fleur De Lis pizza. It was damn good. But it stopped being damn good twenty years ago when Junior died and his daughter took it over and turned a saloon that sold pizza into Chuck E Cheese. The beer, whiskey and cigarette and cigar smoke all flavored the pizza.

I assume they cut the buffet pieces into triangles because it is easier to serve with the triangular spatulas.

There is no more smoking in Fleur so that is better.
