Just spent two weeks in Philly, went to Yards, Dogfish Head and a couple of other places. The beer being made in LA right now blows that shite out of the water. I've been hearing about Dogfish Head for years and it was good but not Ghost or GnG good.
And I'm certain I'm wrong, but in the more mature craft beer regions it seems the beer is an afterthought, the focus is on selling food and merch.

I think amongst some of us that is what we are saying. Stuff we are getting in LA stands up to most. Check last nights FBD and the last page from someone having access to Cali beers and drinking Ghost for the first time.

I compare drinking ghost to wearing girbaud jeans: it was cool for awhile, then it was blase, now it's sort of retro and cool again.
