but the 5 Guys gets is odd

it's a good burger, but by no means is it life changing. I ate at one last week, it was exactly last the last time, and what I expected. A burger. I've had worse, I've had much better.

5 guys is just like Canes....must be enjoyed hot and fresh in building or it quickly loses many levels of awesomeness.

Not on this board. As many people seem to hate it as like it. The people that hate it mostly hate the fries, the people that like it tend to realize what it is, a premium fast food burger. Better than McDonalds, not better than a sit down restaurant with a good burger. To the OP, it's not worth a 20 minute drive, it's worth getting but wait til next time you're in the area and want a burger.
