It's not like here in Louisiana. I'm from So. Ohio and usually you can knock on the door and ask the person to hunt. Most of the time if you kill something, you give them some of the meat.

You can get licenses over the counter. Cause I'm going back home to take my son on a few rabbit and squirrel hunts and I buy my out of site license at Kit Carsons over the counter.

Note: I'm not saying hunting in Louisiana is awful in any sense. It's just different and something I'm not use to. Cause we don't do private leases or hunt camps. We just know people and knock on doors.

It's not pressured and like I said before. Most people would let you hunt if you just ask and share (if that want it). I hope this helps some. If you need more info, please ask.
