I've been to Albasha quite a few times but I'd like to try Serop's since they have a Perkins location (therefore closer to LSU). I've compared both menus and they seem to offer the same food for the same prices. I'm just wondering if one of them is superior to the other, or if there are any other better *edit* Lebanese/Mediterranean/Greek places in B.R. FWIW I'm probably going to order a Chicken Schawarma salad .

Don't tell a Greek person that.

Atcha is your best best for authentic Greek restaurants in BR.

Albasha is better than Serops, but I do like the cafeteria style setup of Serops Express on Jefferson.

Atcha

Sooo good.
It's on highland. They have some kind of platter for two that I think is like 20 or 25$ and it's balling.

I don't find a lot of difference between Serop's and Albasha. I get takeout from Serop's on Perkins about once a week (tonight included). Good stuff and the owners and staff are really nice.

I figured that since they both literally have about 95% of the same items with nearly identical prices. I think I'm going to try Serop's.

Albasha's easily to me. I've had some very dried out shawarma and concrete falafels at Serop's, that has never happened at Albasha'a.

I like Albasha better. It's one of my "must-do" meals when I'm in town.

I eat Serops much more than Albasha since I live right behind Serops on Perkins. I do like Albasha better though. Portion size is larger and you can do Albasha for lunch and not stink for the rest of the day. The same can't be said for Serops. Not sure why.

I appear to be in the minority, but I prefer Serops over Albasha. Their baba ghanoush is the best in town IMO and I'm a huge fan of their house salad dressing.
