the corks are dried out on all them but would you drink it?

my uncle kept them in an air conditioned house all this time so it wasn't like they were in the garage or attic but i'm a little leery about drinking anything from them.

here's an example of what they look like. almost all look very similar to this

I would think, since it's alcohol, it should be fine to drink.

I found this old Jim Beam and Ducks Unlimited decanter recently. I didn't realize that was a thing until them but now I kind of hope to find more.

I'd probably drink them. Maybe run them through cheese cloth or filter them with funnel and coffee filter if you're worried about particulates.

There’s a former poster who would likely assist in drinking it with you.

You want to make sure the decanters were not made with lead, besides that the juice is fine to drink.

Unless there’s a lot of debris in the juice I would drink them. Would love to see pictures? How bad are the corks, tax strips?

Worst case they have lots of debris and some traces of lead depending on the decanter, but I would prob drink it either way.

i'll get a few pics. they all still have corks in them but some don't seem to have any booze left. 99% of them still have the boxes they came in as well. he had all his bookshelves adorned with these and the boxes stored in the back closet.

it was fun putting the puzzle together..some of them i didn't realize were jim bean until i found a box with an odd shape and realized what i thought was a random knick knack was another decanter.

i hated to see these get thrown away so grabbed all of them (along with his extensive playboy collection)
