I can handle flat, warm beers if there's some flavor there.

agree. Still at work but once I get out I'll probably either work on a Noche Bueno or a glass of Bullet Bourbon.... haven't decided yet

If you're out of college, there's no reason to be drinking any of that kind of stuff.

That's the beer when mostly drank we were in Costa Rica some years ago. I thought it was pretty tasty stuff and I certainly have some good memories associated with it.

I don't care for wheat beer or Belgian whites really. Funny story about that, though. Me and the GF were at Outback a couple weeks ago, and this group of HS kids sat in the booth behind us, and this chick was talking about Shock Top (there was a promotional thing on the table) and she said, "Oh it's this really dark, gross beer. It's kinda like Guinness".

those beers lose a ton of taste if they aren't very cold.

that's why Bud had iced railroad cars, back in the day
... and why Coors makes such a big deal out of their temp-reader.

I think Costa Rica, like Mexico had Germans come over and bring their technology, generations ago.

XX is a German-style beer.

Just went to Costa Rica last month. This was all I drank, and a bottle of local spiced rum. Good beer, I'm gonna have to find some now.

I guess they're just now trying to mass market it in the US. I'd never seen it or heard of it until a few weeks ago and now it's everywhere, even in Publix. So I'd assume it's only a matter of time until it makes it your way.
