I’m going to Texas de Brazil tonight. Never been, but I’ve been to other places like it.

I mean the "servers" only real job at a place like that really is to take drink orders then at the end of the meal sell desserts. If the bar is backed up, I can see things taking longer. Water should have been refilled by a busser although it is ultimately the server's responsibility. I am not trying to make excuses for them; just saying possible scenarios as to why.

I'm going Saturday for the first time. This thread has helped me come up with a gameday strategy....I'll eat a relatively light late breakfast/early lunch and drink a lot all day long.

When I was at LSU, the student chapter of the Society of Petroleum engineers took all of us out to eat at Texas de Brazil and paid for the whole thing. Oilfield has always enjoyed being true ballers

Did ya puke?
The last time I went, I did. I ended up mixing scotch, then beer, then red wine, then some nerdy little apéritif. Then, one last bowl of lobster bisque fuh duh road, brah.
That final bowl was not long for this world(muh gut).
It was the closet I’ve ever been to feeling like this:
FTR, I tossed my cookies in the parking lot at the thought of riding home. Pretty sure I’ve never seen a menu in TDB. So, that was never gonna be a possibility.
