Ideas for dried figs?

Other than eating them like candy, what might be some simpler things to do with them?
Thinking savory not dessert. Mostly because I don’t make desserts.

Chop them up and cook them down in a sauce for pork or chicken. If you look up recipes that call for dates or raisins, just substitute figs.

Think bread, like banana nut bread. My daughter cooks an amazing date bread, and figs would probably yield the same result. Recipes are available online.
