I impulse bought a juicer - any juice recipes you all regularly use?

My intent is to incorporate more vegetables via juicing but will probably mask a lot of the taste with fruit to sweeten it up

This isn't a resolution so much as me being terrible about buying shite I don't need

To start I just looked at the Juice menu from the place around the corner, The Green Fork, and kind of tried to recreate some of theirs. Ended up finding this combo worked.

I have had mine for about two months and use it daily but it’s a lot of work. Not sure if I’d be able to keep it up if not working from home due to quarantine.

So you’re going to make a sugar drink and delude yourself that it’s healthy just because you have a little vegetable juice in it.

My wife used ours once a week to make juices for her lunches. My advice would be to find a fruits stand / famers market and buy everything there. Those things require a ton of fruit and vegetables which add up quick from a traditional grocery store

Funny as my wife just got finished juicing for a few days. Her damn juicer sounds like a gas-powered generator when it fires up, but damn does the house smell good when she puts ginger through it.

From casually looking over, the one she made has:
celery
cucumber
spinach
ginger
apple

I'm not on the keto diet bruh

I don't think the juice from some berries is going to kill me

This is good tasting. I will have to incorporate this “red juice” into the rotation.

The below recipes are larger quantities to have cold juice in the fridge and not have to pull out the juicer everyday.

This recipe was primarily created to incorporate kale into juice.

Green Juice
1 bunch Kale
1/2 bunch spinach
3 bunch celery
1 lb carrots
1 lg lemon (cut off yellow rind)
2 limes (cut off green rind)
1 cucumber
1 jalapeno pepper (remove seeds and vein)
4 granny smith green apples
Honey dew melon

This juice is good to appease any sweet tooth.

Purple Juice
1 bag grapes
2-3 golden delicious apples
6-12 oz blackberries/blueberries
2" Ginger root (eventually more)
