That's my aunt Kitty!

That's not her real hair, you know. She wears a wig since the welding accident.

I'd have pulled the hair out and never said a word. Hair does not bug me, and per your post, did not bother you, so why be a girl about it? I presume you finished the meal, since it did not bug you.

I had an incident with Hai Nam in Houston. I didn't just get a hair, but after a few bites, a piece of steel wool was lodged in the back of my throat. I literally had to pull it out with my thumb and index finger. There was absolutely no offer at all by the restaurant to compensate, and I certainly wasn't going to continue eating that dish. When I went to the bathroom to wash up, the bill came with the returned dish still on it, and my friend put up a stink. They reluctantly took it off the bill.

Count, where do you eat that deserts are $2.95? I thought that the cobbler at the end of Popeye's buffet was included.

I don't know, maybe it's cause I'm new to the f&d board but the stare-down part makes you come off as an a-hole. You stated the waitress immediately apologized and offered a free dessert (likely the most she could offer without a manager's approval) and just ignore her and try to intimidate her with a stare?

A simple "No thank you, I would prefer a new plate" would have sufficed.

I would have asked for a free replacement plate rather then quietly"standing off" and whining about it later.

At my age i don't get a lot of chances to get a long blonde hair in my mouth, I might have asked if they could put it in a to go box for me. Now if it had been dark, kinky with one of those white bulbous roots still attached, of questionable body part origin, then I want my money back and a free STD blood test.

For being new, you're off to a great start

Nope, that was a "what else you got stare".

"No thank you, I would prefer a new plate" would have sufficed.
Again, If I had to ask, WTF is the point? That piece of shite place should have offered that from the gitgo.

And lastly, welcome to the F&DB - and you obviously dont know who I am

That's just CC.

You will learn that there are many other reasons to think he's an a-hole.

But when not loaded down with hair, the 1/2 n 1/2 is damn good there. Yes to the Michelobs, but I dont drink beer - lots of vodka and bourban, but no beer.
