I have the stainless with the alarm. Easy to peel. No issues. Set it and forget it.

It's a little creepy to think my egg was in someone's mouth before I eat it.

Found a recipe online that works for me every time.

Boil a pot of water. Add about a tbsp of salt and a tbsp of white vinegar.

Add eggs carefully to the boiling water and let boil for 14 minutes.

When time is up, immediately transfer to cold water to stop cooking.

Peel eggs.

The shells basically melt off the eggs and I've boiled dozens with no issues at all. Doesn't matter how fresh the egg either.

That's why you don't tell them! And the mouth only touches the shell.
