Looking to fry some crawfish this weekend. How much does a pound of crawfish run for? If it helps any, I live in DFW.

How many people does a pound of crawfish tails generally serve?

Is it cheaper for the unpeeled version?

Well, it's a pound of meat. Kind of easy to figure out from there.

Depends on what else you serve with it. Count on 1/4 to 1/2 lb per entree serving.

Take a look at the purveyors of California/Oregon area as their season started a month or so ago as a poster proudly declared one day.

Yeah you're not gonna find crawfish that are any less than #10-12/lb now, out of season.
