How long, what temp? Or is stovetop better? I’ve always finished on stove.

I finish in the oven at @375....lid off....@25 minutes.
Key is having the jam boiling when you add the rice and bring it back to a near boil before popping in the oven.

bring to a boil on stove uncovered, then cover and place in preheated oven at 350 for one hour

My best results have been an hour in the oven @ 300. But this was before I calibrated the heat with a digital thermometer, so in actuality it probably was about 320ish, cuz it cooked a lil hotter before.

drop rice in and cook it until you can pull it aside with spoon and see the dry bottom of pot.
then put a cover on the pot and put it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and its done, no chance at all of burning it.
if you dont cover it then the rice and stuff on top will dry out and get hard on you
this is the way i always cook it
