No problem, great advice deserves thanks and praise. I appreciate the board for steering us to some very nice cuts of Beef.

For future consideration I would add Vallone's at Gateway Memorial. Their wine list is on par with Tony's signature restaurant in Greenway. They serve the best fried soft shelled crabs and meatballs as appetizers. The beef is amazing.

If you're on the west side and wanting steak, I vouch for Sal y Pimienta inside of city Centre. Beautiful selection of South American beef brought out for you to choose from on a butchers block before cooking.

Our meal Saturday at pappas was excellent as well. I had the bone in ribeye, wife had a filet and loved it. The sides were awesome especially the lump crabmeat mac and cheese.

Our server mentioned the crab mac and cheese, I may be kicking myself for not trying it now. I will say the other specials, the shrimp chowder was very good and the Kobe on the Himalayian Salt Block was pretty spectacular!

A friend of mine asked why we didn't goto Smith and Wollenskys? No one on here mentioned there.

Next time I would give Killen's Steakhouse a shot. Its located in Pearland just outside of Houston. Excellent

Worth the drive. Best steak I've ever eaten.

A restaurant with "Steak Flights" instead of beer or liquor flights is my kind of place.

His BBQ joint does brisket flights from time to time as well. The beef rib and pork belly are my go to items though.
