Sounds like you're on the right track and you've done your research. This is the place to ask questions though. Lots of us on here. Enjoy!

Yea I wont go less than 8gal. Dont want a spillover.
For full boil, I'd go 10 gallon. When I started I had a 7.5 gallon and always had boil overs. And I think using extract malt causes even bigger boil overs. Since I went to all grain, the head on the boil doesnt get nearly as big.

I wouldn't use the term "master", but I have been known to make batches of a substance that is potable and oddly similar to beer.

Im still working on what to do about a kettle. I have a big gumbo pot I was planning on using for now but Im still not sure on what I need cause I havent seen the process enough.
My buddy and I just used a stainless crawfish pot and a crawfish burner. The keg was a soft-drink syrup canister. He's since set up a refrigerator with a thermostatically controlled extension cord, so he can set it to hold the temperature at whatever he needs, depending on whether he's aleing or lagering.
Brewing is all about ingenuity, especially once you're comfortable enough with brewing to start having fun and playing around with adjuncts. We once tried poptarts.

I may get my crawfish burner and do similar. Great idea.

well I got it right before getting married and then started popping out kids so my spare time is limited, after i finish fishing, hunting, playing golf, etc I don't have much time to brew so I figured someone should get some use out of it. I offered it to a friend but he never came pick it up

If you are handy at all, you can cut the top out of a 15.5 gal keg and use that as a boil pot (assuming you will be boiling outside).

If I hadn't been 5th in line I'd be e-mailing you about it, and I have a brewing setup already.

I hope you buy the keg from the brewery or else you are stealing.
