Yeah it happened to a lot of people and, in his defense, I don’t know if customer service could have fixed the technical stuff since this is all through a third party vendor.
It is a total bummer this happened and it would be nice to have some kind of backup. Although I don’t know the best method for that. I like the idea of switching the cashless to where it is linked directly to your account.

I said you were being dramatic. I didn’t call you a mean name or personally attack anything about you. I referenced the people the event is for and mentioned how upsetting it might be to them if people were really causing scenes out there.

I don’t know or care about your children. I was making a point about the people the festival was for and you damn well know that. You’re not going to give me some sense of undeserved guilt when you know exactly the point I was making.
Boycotting an event for families with cancerous children is your own prerogative, but it makes much more sense to wait for a reply from Hogs and decide where you stand when you find out whether changes are made. Or to just quietly decide it’s not your thing anymore. If you have supposedly been every year and never had this issue, it is ridiculous to say you’re never stepping foot at the event again because of something that happened one time.

Well they got $0 from me this year despite me trying my hardest To spend money , so they aren’t missing anything

Don’t reallt want to talk a about my kids specifics on here. Y’all have enough context But a lot of people have kids that deal with all kids of issues, and there is no such thing as a perfectly healthy kid

Also, at what point can we stop using the excuse that Hogs is a charity event? That is used every time something like this happens. Not to be rude but most people attending do not give a shite about that. This thing has gotten much bigger than that. While i respect that they still give tribute to the roots of this thing, people do take time and spend good money to come to this thing. They are at a point where the founders are paying themselves. So get it right. I come to eat and have fun and if you cant spend money you are doing a disservice to both sides.

I love how multiple people made legitimate gripes about the payment system issues and get called dramatic and told they should just suck it up because it’s for charity.
