There was also a volleyball tournament AND a tennis event in addition to Hogs. That’s why some spots had to be left open. Wasn’t the best planning of those events but they had to leave spots open for those other events.

The lots being full were frustrating, but the DOTD and levee police threatening to tow everyone who dared park near any grass over the levee were absurd. There’s no businesses there. Who cares if someone parks in the grass on the side of the road?
I was cracking up watching them painting “no parking” yellow stripes on the curb that was not previously painted where people were already parked and inside. If you tow them, it’s not like you can refer to the “no parking” stripes. You painted them while the people were inside!

Boars Nest party had electrical problems for the 2nd year in a row but they rallied after around 20 minutes of troubleshooting. Had big crowd in there until around 230am. Had a few too many purple drinks to wash down the Gonzo tacos. Hoggystyle party was wild in the earlier part of the night.

Funny you said that. I noticed the Hoggy Style tent had Fred’s in Tigerland doing the bar and a Cats Meow stage within. And sponsorship signs by Hustler club and whatnot.
I thought to myself they probably had a great party with those people teamed up.

There were a lot of open spots open in the main hogs parking lot. Not sure if that’s where the tennis or volley people would park-I could be wrong. Tennis courts were empty when we passed. We were in traffic for 45 minutes trying to park.
All in all, they raised 5.25 m over the weekend. That is fantastic. Thank you to all the teams. That’s a lot of hard work put in.

I'm in Mid-City and it's been raining for 1 1/2 hours now, sometimes pretty hard. Not sure when HFTC shuts down but I imagine if still going on, it's getting sloppy about now.

Ah, didn't know that since I've never been to the event.
