you could use that side burner for frying stuff so you don't get your kitchen all greasy.

try pork chops, burgers, shrimp, corn on the cob,
pork tenderloins, portabella mushrooms, yellow squash and zucchini.

get a good grilling cookbook or check on line

certainly edible, but there are many other varieties of fish that are better than kings.
So do not become turned off to fish if you are not happy with the Mackerel.

And with fish all ways keep it moist, expecially with King Mackerel

put a LOT of spice, butter, and lemon on it. especially if it wasn't vacuum sealed.

I hope I'm wrong if you decide to cook it, but in my experience, if you don't eat the kings the day you catch them, you might as well use 'em to fertilize corn.If it's been in the freezer, I really wouldn't spend the effort on it.Good luck, though. And FWIW, I love fresh, grilled king steaks.

Thick pork chops are $.

Simple too. Fresh Ground Pepper, Kosher Salt, and Some Slap-Yo-Mama's.

About 10 Minutes each side, flip only once.

BBQ sauce for people who like it.

I use my side burner for blackening. I chunk a cast iron skillet on it and turn the flame all the way up, and let it get really hot.

About 15 minutes b/4 I put meat on the grill I cut up potatoes into about 2inche cubes, add onion cut into chunks, large chunks of bell peppers, whole cloves of garlic, season with seasoning salt and pepper, add a few pats of butter and some olive oil, place all that in a tight foil sealed tightly and place on grill. I have also added broccoli & asparagus to the mix.

I also like grilling squash, zucchini, tomatoes, onions & garlic with EVOO in foil.

If you haven't been grilling too much pick up Steven Raichlen's how to grill book. it was given to me back when i was in middle school and has some easy to follow grilling techniques. his other books are great too. also the weber book mentioned above has some awesome recipes.

but the more you grill, the better you will be at it
