I'm going for the Saints game in mid October. Just wanted to get the boards thoughts on any places I should try while I'm there. Already have reservations at J&G's. And I've heard great things about a hamburger joint called chuck box. Thanks for any suggestions.

Over Easy in Scottsdale for breakfast/brunch and Paradise Valley Burger Company for lunch. Both have been on DDD.

Can't go wrong with the following :
Pizzeria Bianco- Some say its best in US..don't know but I don't got to Phoenix without going..its that good!

Christopher's at the Wrigley Manison- best high end restaurant in the Southwest...$ 500 fixed prixe 12 courses with wine pairing and 3 hrs.

Andreoli Italian Grocer- best Italian in the area

Confluence- Some say better than Christopher's at a 1/3 of the price....James Beard award winning Chef...we had a group that dined there...it was really good would go again for sure.

I'm staying with my buddy who lives out there in Tempe. I think you can pretty much use Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale interchangeably since they are about 20 minutes away from eachother. I've had several people recommend pizza bianco. So I'll definitely hit that up for lunch one day.

In Tempe I would recommend Four Peaks and Culinary Dropout. Casual but good places.

Higher end in old town Scottsdale, I like Ocean 44.

Can't go wrong with Bianco.

I'm actually torn between J&G's and Ocean 44. Any thoughts one way or the other? People are telling me I can't go wrong with both. And every one that says J&G mentions the view.

I don't know anything about Italian in that area. I'm in north Scottsdale and usually just frequent places near me.
If I find myself in Tempe I'm hitting Four Peaks.

The best thing I can recommend is take an Uber to old town Scottsdale. Get reservations at one of the nice places, then walk to the other bars. There are like 30-40 bars/restaurants in walking distance. Weather should be nice and eye candy everywhere.

My buddy said that it's going to be nice fall weather alittle bit colder than usual.

I had a recent meal at FnB in Scottsdale and it was very good.
