On plane now, be here through Monday night and running the Tunnel to Towers 5k Sunday morning.
Hitting Hamilton Friday night and looking for whole in the wall, true New York experiences--
Pizza is a must
Open to all suggestions.
Staying at Marriott near 9/11 memorial. Thanks in advance as I've never been sent in the wrong direction on this board.

Head to Blind Tiger on Bleecker and see if they have any Hill Farmstead on tap.
Comedy Cellar is also close-by, which would be a good place to go in the evening.
ETA: I know Comedy Cellar is more for Travel Board, but very much worth it to go.

If you're down that far on the West Side, do the British Gastro-Pub The Spotted Pig for brunch on Sunday. If you want pizza and an Italian feast, go to Eataly, 23rd St and 5th Avenue.
Also on the lower West Side: TAO Downtown for Chinese. It's a New York dining experience that can't be missed.

I really enjoyed Motorino for pizza when we were up there for Christmas/New Year.

One of my favorite pizza spots is NY Pizza Suprema, which is right near MSG / Penn Station.

Artichoke Pizza was pretty damn good. We ate at the one near the Highline.
Quality Meats was really good. Steak was awesome.
Lillie's Bar neat little bar not far from theaters. Good drinks.
