If you like sushi then this is a great place to go. Elvis rocks Metairie with the best sushi in the area.

Went to Meril last week
Service could have been better
Not as good as his other restaurants but for the price it was worth it

I'm in New Orleans now. Went to Meril yesterday for lunch. I enjoyed the food but service was poor, as you said. I'll post a full review once I get back home.

Going there tomorrow. We ventured away from our original plan. So far we've hit

Meril
C&A Seafood
Siberia
Coop's Place

Going to Sac-a-lait tonight, and Shaya tomorrow. Also going to get Kanno to-go.

You are missing out on Kanno if you don't go eat at the bar

I've eaten at the bar multiple times at the old location. This will be my first visit to the new one.

Hit up Toups Meatery across the street from Blue Oak. Went there for the first time last weekend. Food was incredible. The meatery board is delicious. Some of the best cracklins i ever had. And i had the burger for lunch and it was phenomenal.
