I'll always love The Old Mill. Especially for breakfast.

Smoky Mountain Trout House. Log Cabin for breakfast.

Depending on where you're staying, for breakfast I would hit some of the pancake houses on the Pigeon Forge side. Way less crowded, ample parking, and the food tastes the same.

Gatlinburg Brewing Company has some really good pizza... as well as beer obviously.
Smoky Mountain Brewery also has solid food and beer.
Both are kid friendly.

You are gonna have to hunt a little while but there are a few decent pancake houses there. They kinda fly under the radar though

The Best Italian located on the LeConte Creek in the main area of Gatlinburg was pretty good pizza and really good garlic rolls.

It was mediocre. I think it's a Mexican place that started doing Italian.

I was there 2 years ago for Thanksgiving. The old mill opens at 11 and people start getting in line at 8 am....frick that. It wasn’t much available Thanksgiving day. We ended up leaving Thanksgiving day and driving back to Birmingham and ate at Ruth’s Chris that evening.
