I think that's about the best I've ever tried. What cut of meat are they using?

I tried it years ago. I do remember it being pretty good. My favorite now though is Don's Specialty Meats in Carencro.

Definitely not the best I've had. Few places I've been in TX are much better. Forget the name but is on 59 around Victoria. Best I've had. I also like my own jerky better.
However I've only bought Bourgeois from a side of the road vendor not at the market.

It is better fresh when they wrap it in the freezer paper. The vac pack stuff just ain't the same.

This. Got some in Grand Isle from the little grocery there and was disappointed compared to what I was expecting. I'll be stopping to get some fresh jerky Friday on the way to visit the inlaws.

Last time I was in there, they gave us a sample of a boudin burrito. That stuff was amazing.

Boudin burritos are awesome and beef jerky is the best around. They should be getting close to selling their crawfish boudin burritos.
