Hannah Q’s Barbecue latest restaurant moving to Government Street
Never heard of this place. Has anyone here ever been to the one in Prairieville? Any good? God knows we are desperate for a good BBQ joint. Although on Government they might be able to get away with just having drinks and a cool patio.

Hannah Q’s Barbecue, a Prairieville-based restaurant, is opening its second location in the Government Street building near South Foster Drive that previously housed The Jambalaya Shoppe, which closed in late 2017.

Fong estimates it will take as much as $250,000 to renovate his new space, which will include building an outdoor patio. He hopes to be open by the late fall.

Same people that operate Jasmine's on the Bayou.
Sadly, their are no top-tier BBQ joints in this city. However, the Barbosa BBQ popups from time to time are excellent.

Hannah Q is pretty good - will be a must needed addition on this side of town.

Hannah Q is passable bbq. Which for Baton Rouge puts it in the top tier.
For Government St. I hope they get a liquor license.

It's disappointing Barbosa didn't get his spot on gov't street.
