My wife loves turkey and can roast one appropriately and it's good. I love the leftovers that she turns into turkey salad and turkey noodle soup.

But, a spiral ham done on the Primo is better to me and she's coming around on that too, in part because it's a lot less work for her. I use a cherry-jalapeno BBQ sauce for basting/glazing.

We eat ham for days, and then have a bone for collard green soup.

I'm not a big ham fan except when I'm in the area of Lea's. I love their ham sandwiches. I use smoked ham and hocks for seasoning. I eat around the meat most of the time. I don't want a piece of sliced ham on my plate. I might pick at some ham meat, but I don't want it as an entree. I love turkey.
