Good stuff. The food around the Mediterranean rim is so great. Gibraltar to Lebanon and all points between.

More greasy than the gyros and the meat is more of a mystery

Well in defense, I only ate them while in the UK and they always just asked..."you want chili sauce on it?"

haha, oh i wasn't calling you out, just letting you know what they called it.

that was our go to meal in europe when we were in a rush from London to Bratislava.

Me and my buddies have been joking since we got back that we need to open up a kebab snack.

Which is why we only ate them after a long drunken night at the pubs.

Same story. We lived on them in the UK for about a month and then came back to the states and couldn't find it. Open up a kebab shack my friend said, you'll be rich.

If you ever are in the quarter and want a late night gyro, there is a good little place next door to Pat O's. It's not exactly a restaurant, there are no tables, but there are a few bar stools. My favorite place on the gulf coast is Mr. Greek's in Biloxi. It's close to Keesler AFB, and is usually packed by 11:30. I probably get a greek salad at least once a week from there. Aristo's in Biloxi sucks. My husband says Keifer's in Jackson is the best gyro he's ever had. Said it's even better than Mr. Greek's.

Lemme guess, you're part Greek now too? Oh, and you're wrong Paco.
