Started the carnivore diet 2 months ago, trying to see where you baws shop for good deals on meat. I butcher 1/2 a steer every year, but that goes pretty quick when eating 99% meat diet. Sam’s in Lafayette doesn’t always have great deals. Nu’Nu’s is my go to when I’m ready to light the pit. Where can I find the best deals?

I don't know about best deals, but I grew up getting meat at Earl's.

Rouses on Camillia has good meat selection, and a really good bourbon isle…

If you want deals, gotta go old school and watch the weekly ads. This would be a good tool for you:

I get the local store ads in my e-mail every week or simply look up the store on the net and check them out.

I mainly shop 5 stores----------Costco, Rouses, Canseco's, Robert's and Zuppardo's in the N.O. area. Between those 5, I can find deals damn near weekly.

Rouses will put whole beef on sale pretty often. I bought a 25lb Prime shortloin last month for $9.97lb. I got them to cut it tino 1.5" steaks and got 14 big arse porterhouse out of it. They have prime sirloin top on sale for $6.97lb now. Just have to watch the sale paper.
